My name is Sandra Niccoli and I am originally from Italy.
I have spent few years of my life travel ,living in London and Scotland and I have been in New Zealand for the past 16 years in the beautiful Bay of Plenty. I have been very lucky to have lived in different countries and experienced a variety of cultures, allowing me to have a broader appreciation and understanding of people of all backgrounds. Aotearoa is definitely my home and my friends are part of my whanau.
It has always been important for me to work with people and assist them to reach their goals and fulfill their aspirations. I know what it is like to be at your lowest point. I have been through a lot in my personal life and I am so grateful to have turned my life around and enjoy every minute of it now.
My motto is: Love yourself first, because that is who you will be spending the rest of your life with and don’t let anything or anyone prevent you from making your dreams come true. KIA KAHA.
Throughout my life, I have been given an opportunity to provide support to diverse groups of people who suffer with both intellectual, physical and mental difficulties/distress. My previous work experience and studies have both allowed me to expand my understanding of both people’s needs and their experiences they may have in the community. I have always been passionate about helping others in the community however being able to meet with people and listen to their stories has helped to develop my passion in working in the mental health field .
It’s only after my daughter grew up and became independent that I was able to fully pursue this and re-train in this field. I am living proof that it is never too late to change your life and this is why I love to help people reach their full potential and follow their dreams.
I have qualifications in the following fields:
- Diploma in Counselling Psychology
- Qualified Life Coach / mental health coach
- National Certificate in Health Disability and Aged Support
- Qualified Mental Health professional
- Diploma in Youth Development and Counselling
- Qualified in Child Psychology
- Qualified in Adolescent Psychology

I m happy to offer private life coaching sessions to whoever can benefit from a little extra help and guidance.
As a life and mental health coach my job is to help people make progress in their lives in order to attain greater fulfillment. I aid people in improving their relationships, careers and day-to-day lives. In creating these strategies, life coaches use your unique skills and gifts.
I love to use the Maori model Te Whare Tapa Whā (the house of four sides) 4 important walls that represented taha wairua/spiritual wellbeing, taha hinengaro/mental and emotional wellbeing, taha tinana/physical wellbeing and taha whānau/family and social wellbeing. I think it is important to incorporate all parts of a person, when considering their well being, in order to best support them in their journey to recovery.
